the strategic IT planning process and teach enterprises how to efficiently adopt cloud as a new business model.

We are looking for application-savvy technical experts to join our team!

The client is seeking world-class Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) to join our Asia presales team. Successful candidates will possess hands-on experience with a broad variety of Enterprise computing infrastructure and cloud computing technologies. Our job is to give enterprises the information necessary to make easy buying decisions and design flexible, supportable solutions to customer problems utilizing the many different technology offerings in our product portfolio.

In addition the Cloud Architect will be able to help understand customers’ requirements for cloud success and be able to perform gap analysis against our current capabilities. The candidate will work closely with cross functional cloud teams and other senior cloud engineers to deliver compelling and viable prototypes to highlight our ability to make cloud service more personal and relevant to large Enterprises. The Cloud Enterprise Architect should be a thought leader in the benefits and challenges of delivering DevOps and how to innovate in the infrastructure as code space.

Job Requirement

Key Accountabilities

  • Invaluable knowledge of our company's products/services (specifically Public, Private, & Hybrid Cloud), pricing practices, FTSE 500 and selling skills.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key technical contacts within the customer accounts and becoming a trusted adviser to these individuals
  • Responsible for accelerating the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles and coming up with innovative solutions that addresses the customer requirements.
  • Lead pre-sales engagements, such as architecture design workshops and proofs of concept and be able to carry that through to production implementation
  • Presentations at technical conferences or seminars and webinar production
  • Influence buying decisions with a clearly articulated technical solution mapped to customer need and requirements

For those having a need to know pursuant to company instructions.

  • Work with leadership to help align the product roadmap and help drive new APAC products and services.
  • Effective presentation skills with the capacity to articulate value to varying customer audiences (administrators to executives).
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and run virtual teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions for customers and prospects
  • Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedure as directed.

  • Hands-on experience building, delivering, and managing cloud IaaS environments using platforms such as OpenStack, VMWare, Azure, AWS, and GCE.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies is essential such as Citrix, Xen, KVM, VMware, etc.
  • A proven track record of creating successful outcomes for customers, prospects, or clients using bleeding edge technology.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps situations, OSS principles, and technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Cfengine, Zookeeper, Capistrano, etc.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills are desirable to varying technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A deep passion for technology and a love of learning new concepts and technologies.
  • Good knowledge of both operational and development environments is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently provide FANATICAL support.
  • Extensive technical pre-sales support experience
  • Leading application platform consulting engagements, a strong plus
  • Tenacious problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
  • One or more relevant industry recognized certifications: i.e. RHCE/A, MCITP, CCNA, VCP, CISSP, ITIL foundations.
  • Broad knowledge of the following technologies (with deep knowledge of some): Javascript, Memcached, Redis, LAMP, nginx, node.js, Varnish, git
  • Strong proficiency in any of the following scripting languages: Python, Ruby, C/C++, Java
  • Knowledge and experience in some of the following BigData technologies: Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding business pains and architecting technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
  • Business proficiency in Asian languages. Mandarin Chinese preferred.
  • Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal departments and external customers
  • A high level of industry awareness and the competitive cloud landscape
